... a Notre Dame Mission Volunteer – Notre Dame Mission Volunteers serve in the United States, Kenya, or Peru. In the United States, the program partners with AmeriCorps. Volunteers in the U.S. receive a living allowance, basic health insurance, and an AmeriCorps education award in exchange for 11 months of service (1700 hours). International volunteers receive a monthly stipend, health insurance, and travel expenses. All volunteers receive supervision and support, as well as opportunities to develop professionally and personally.
