UISG Praises Research and Presentation...

Mary Johnson UISG 2017On May 4, 2017, the International Union of Superiors General (UISG) in Rome welcomed to their session, as the keynote speaker, Sister Mary Johnson, SNDdeN, Professor of Sociology and Religious Studies at Trinity Washington University in Washington, DC. Sr. Mary gave a stimulating Power-Point presentation on the collaborative research study conducted between Trinity Washington University and the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) at Georgetown University. She addressed the goals of this Religious Life study on International Women Religious in the United States and highlighted also the critical anti-immigrant sentiment, currently present in the country. She expressed gratitude to GHR Foundation for their financial support of this study.

The members at the UISG session expressed gratitude to Sr. Mary for her rich, engaging, and enlightening presentation on her research.
