As members of an apostolic community, we share in the mission of Jesus Christ to bring all people to God our Creator through the Spirit. As Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, we seek to make credible by our lives and works that God is Good.<\/p>\n
In the world today we are aware<\/p>\n
The Gospel stands in opposition to this reality. Through our vowed life we accept the challenge of the Gospel<\/p>\n
In particular, we contribute to the local church in Kenya and Sudan<\/p>\n
We accept with joy those young women who feel called to follow the Gospel in the charism of St. Julie and we commit ourselves to formation and its implications for the future. Our decisions as a Unit reflect this commitment to formation and we look forward to that day when these beginnings will blossom into Notre Dame fully rooted in Kenya\/Sudan.<\/p>\n
Our ministries vary according to our personal gifts, each responding to our vision of mission. We pledge ourselves to support one another in the consequences which will flow from the living out of this Statement of Mission.<\/p>\n
