Sister Claudine Dumbi, SNDdeN, from the Congo-Kinshasa Province is participating at the International Meeting on Climate Change (COP27) in Egypt. The administrators at Catholic University of the Congo, where Sr. Claudine is a professor of agriculture and a researcher on ecology and the environment, sent her to represent the University at this critical conference. Two other Universities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) also sent their representatives.

Sr. Claudine interacted with young representatives from Brazil and a young man from the Congo, as well as young men from Egypt; she discussed the natural resources of the two countries (Brazil and the DRC). She collaborated also with her academic colleagues from (DRC).

Sr. Claudine says: “As an SNDdeN, I am able to associate with experts who are searching for some solutions for climatic justice, as polluters are less influenced by any climatic phenomena.”
